History:
El Castillo de la Santa Cruz de la Mota data originally from the twelfth century and was built by Don King Sancho el Mayor of Navarra. Subsequent kings and times have been giving her character was reconstructed on it was destroyed by natural causes or by war. It currently houses three chapels, one dedicated to Christ of Mota.
